YSI is seeking a highly qualified Business Development Executive. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Duty:
The Business Development Executive is responsible to lead business development and capture activities for our growing business. The BDE will directly work with the senior management to pursue work in the existing defense client base as well as to expand into new client areas. The BDE will support and lead the development of growth strategy for the defense sector, generate and maintain a pipeline to achieve aggressive growth targets, support and advise the management of overall business development processes. Responsible candidate is expected to achieve annual sales goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Executive, you will:
Experience:
· Prior federal market experience required
· Proven experience with account management/business development required
· Strong negotiation and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with C-level leadership.
· Proven experience in executing account and business capture plans.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Prior experience with US Army, Navy, Air Force or any civilian agencies is preferred.
· Detailed knowledge of end-to-end business capture, proposal and contract execution process.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
